in which .. . . rival companies come together and debut the biggest group in kpop.
aka, Strawberry Entertainment and DreamCity Labels launch a collaborative company, Shooting Star Studios, together and soon debut the biggest group to ever exist in kpop, STARK1ND.
Both companies opened in 2011 and were founded by people who already had fame. Quite quickly after the companies were launched they became seen as rivals — both started at around the same time, both quickly rose to popularity, both are "rich" companies, and, most importantly, because both companies commonly debut artists and release music at similar times.
Since both the companies and the founders are, to put it short, rich they have become well known for constantly debuting new artists and giving pretty much anyone and everyone a chance at debuting. Another thing that both artists and fans like a lot about both companies is the fact that the artists are generally taken care of well. They're usually being very well protected and are often given the rest and help they need, in the few instances that artists have faced mistreatment or similar there have been great measures to help the artist and apologies posted. This is mainly because of the simple fact that founders and the majority of people working behind the scenes in the companies have all either been in the entertainment industry or are close with people who have been. In short, both companies are loved by kpop fans for actually taking care of their artists.
Around the later half of 2016 the ceos, who throughout to the surprise of many actually were friends, began planning a project together — the Shooting Star — and about a year later their project was officially revealed with the debut of STARK1ND.
Shooting Star Studios is basically the daughter company of both Strawberry Entertainment and DreamCity Labels, and the only thing they do is manage STARK1ND, all of it's subunits and all of it's members, as well as any and all projects related to STARK1ND. No members specifically joined Shooting Star Studios and have all been transferred as trainees from either DreamCity Labels or Strawberry Entertainment.

the rotational line-up explained ??
STARK1ND, sometimes called STARONE, is considered either the first or the final sub-unit of the mega group. The line-up for the releases with STARK1ND are always changing, and as it looks right now it's rather uncommon for the same member to appear in the line-up twice. They debuted on November 29, 2017, with the song " ENERGETIC " which now is a very loved by fans all around the globe.
the ENERGET1C line-up all depends on when what members joined Shooting Star Studios (SBE/DCL) but I'm thinking 5 masc members and 5 fem members, most likely from the early debuts. But if your oc was in the company in 2017 and debuted later, feel free to suggest them for the line-up!
There are also gonna be releases that are fully japanese, chinese, english, and similar, — the plan is to have like a japanese release with only japanese members, chinese release with only chinese members, and so on!

sort of important info coming up !!
If i get any questions or similar I'm probably gonna try to update this chapter and provide an explanation here too! (but ill ofc answer the comment before going to update this lol). To confirm that you've taken part of the information chapter, pls put a star symbol of your choice next to your alias in the form.
01 — There are no slots for the members, and all positions will be decided when a group has been filled, which will be based on stats and preferred positions.
02 — Though all sub-units are, well, sub-units, they are commonly just considered groups as they more often than not promote as independent items than as a sub-unit of something bigger, even though they are.
03 — Some members can be in more than one subunit, and in that case there will be comebacks missing that certain member as they might be promoting with another subunit or resting up after promotions. The form will explain this.
04 — Again, your oc must have originally been a trainee under either Strawberry Entertainment or DreamCity Labels before at some point being transferred to Shooting Star Studios to prepare for their debut.
05 — Though I don't really care about the ages of the ocs, I don't quite enjoy the idea of 15 year olds debuting. So while there are age ranges for the groups, they're not exactly set in stone and there is some wiggle room. General rule for ages: youngest at debut=16, oldest at debut= late 20s, but doesnt really matter.
There will also be some information in the guidelines that'll help guide you in your writing!
